The session takes place in the Rectory Meeting Room.

Presently this program is geared for Kindergarten through Grade 8 students,  The year runs from late August through April.  Adult volunteers share their faith and knowledge of Catholicism in an age appropriate manner, using the current textbook program,  Adults may volunteer as teachers (catechists) or classroom aides.

Volunteers must be high school graduates, complete criminal background checks, attend "Protecting God's Children" program, and attend teacher sessions (approximately once a month) or other formation sessions.  They are also asked to continue their own faith development as well as be an example of a practicing Catholic.  High School and Junior High students may volunteer as an aide in a classroom under the direct supervision of the catechist.
